Wed, 26 July- Speed 8km+-

Yet another beautiful day. With the added bonus of no wind.
Arrived at the Oval just before 2.30pm. The joining oval had a footy match going on. Luckily, didn't prove to be a distraction.
Started off with 14.30min w/u jog then basic stretches.
Drills:
3 x 30m Bum slaps
3 x 30m Knee lifts
3 x 60m Strides.
Reps:
200m- 48sec
400m- 1.45min
600m- 2.46min
800m- 3.51min (2.30min walk)
800m- 3.49min (3min walk)
600m- 2.47min
400m- 1.50min
200m- 41sec (this is what keeps me doing reps. The chance to run fast at the end)

I only remember recovery times of 800's but the others were all over the place. Although pretty close to the 1min walk and 1 min jog. Some may have been a little shorter. Stu may notice that i walked in 800's recovery. Surely this is a good thing.
Now, the times won't be that accurate this week due to the lines on the oval disappearing. I was all over the shop!
Finished off with a 9.30min c/d jog.
I really enjoyed today. Wasn't dying throughout the reps. So as well as it being tough work, i lllllllllliked it! ;-)

Legs were fine before todays run. Atm they are feeling considerably worn out. Water intake has been good. No coffee since last Wed, but the chocky clock needs to be reset to Mon. So as you can see, i have been a good little vegemite lately. ( for me, at least) Plan on more stretches tonight.

I am really looking forward to the Mornington Bay fun run, although it may seem that someone over in the Mt Martha area needs a good spanking for injuring herself. perhaps that injury came about from being mesmerised by the 'crissyjt bouncing buns'. lol Next time your in front woman!

Also received my C2S kit today. 20840. Can't wait.

Too lazy to do another post about yesterday- Rode bike for 40mins.


Finished in 60mins. (excluding drills)
Max HR 169-88%, Av 145-76%

    Well, you know me....I'm always up for a good spanking BUT I WILL be there on Sunday. But I may not be able to run before then.

    Good work today, It's true that when I am having good days yours suck and when you have good days mine suck. Seems the better yours was today the more mine sucked LOL.

    Nevermind, tomorrow is a new day.

    Good to hear that you are enjoying the faster work again.
