Sat, 8 July- Long 10km

Arrived at Pelican around 10.30am. Plan was to at least do 10k but see how i was feeling. Sat on a very easy pace (approx 6.40/km) and this was quite comfy. Didn't want to upset the legs too much.
Took around 15 mins for the fingers to defrost. Brrr.
Anyway, decided on not doing 80mins today, as i have done bugger all this week. Only did 10km and time was 66.50mins. Yes very slow run, but i think i actually did the right thing today.
Been drinking lots of water yesterday and today. Although met up with a friend and had a coffee afterwards. But i am back to the water now.
Max HR 162-85%, Av 154-81%.

Well this stinky body is off for a shower now. Then some more housework.... then hehe.... getting ready for a great night out!

    Good to hear you got some k's in the legs. I haven't set this week's plan as I am unsure how the legs are???

    You have an idea of what you need to do, adjust previous weeks and see how it goes.
