Mon, 24 July- 8km, Wooleys Loop

Just after 2pm, headed out in a anti cw direction. Eased into run again, but prob a little faster than yesterdays start. I was slowly picking up pace continually and then around the 15min mark i stuck to that pace. Was out of comfort zone, puffing slightly heavily. It was actually hard to do as i haven't really pushed myself much lately. (So atm the lungs are feeling a little tired.)
No shin pain throughout. Woo hoo. But if i was to have a stab at what pace i will be running in the C2S, i think today is it. Possibly even a little slower.
Anyway, today was another enjoyable, yet hard run.
Finished in 46.18mins.
Max HR 162-85%, Av 156-82%.
I also finished off with some crunches and push ups etc.
AND have a very attractive blister on toe. Argh!
(i really need to finish my tax return so i can get some new runners!)

Booked tix for C2S. Arriving on the 12th and heading out (from canberra) on the 14th.
Also booked tix for Newcastle in Sept. $49 one way!! Can't get much better than that!

Your run sounds much better than mine today. How do you do 3 in a row? This was my first 2 in a row and it hurt. How exciting that you have your tickets.

Good to hear you were back out there today. Be a tad careful now, 3 days in a row is not a regular thing, so lots of stretching and try to get into the water tomorrow!
